• Helps manage health expenses. The plan pays a fixed dollar amount, based on your plan. For example, if you are hospitalized with pneumonia, the plan pays a specific benefit amount per day of your hospital confinement, up to a specific number of days.

Voluntary accident insurance provides a range of fixed, lumpsum benefits for injuries resulting from a covered accident. An Accident plan offers coverage for accidents, injuries, ambulance services, and accidental death in addition to your primary medical insurance. It is also available to your spouse and children – a plan that can protect your whole family. When you or a covered family member has an Accident, you may seek treatment from a physician, urgent care or hospital. Based on the Accident plan you choose, you will receive a benefit paid directly to you to assist with medical plan deductibles and bills from your provider. Manhattan Life is offering two different plans to choose from Standard, and Premier Plan.

ManhattanLife Disability Income Plus provides a benefit to help supplement lost wages due to a covered injury or illness. You will receive a payment to spend however you wish —to help cover everyday expenses, medical costs, and more. Plus, ManhattanLife Disability Income Plus pays in addition to any existing disability coverage you may have.

You are able to elect 60% of your salary up to $1,500.

Coverage is guaranteed issue with a 7 day accident, 7 day sickness and 3 month duration.

With Critical Illness and Cancer plans, you'll receive a benefit after a serious illness or a condition such as a heart attack, stroke, coronary artery disease, or cancer is diagnosed. During your recovery, you and your loved ones can rest easier knowing you won't have to deplete your bank accounts or take on additional debt to cover day-to-day living expenses. All benefit payments are made directly to you, placing you in control at a time when you may feel that your options are limited. Some or all of the benefit is available to you after your initial diagnosis.
